Inside your body lives a team of tiny heroes. They protect you from germs every single day! Let's meet them. Then YOU can lead them into battle.

Germs are tiny things that can make us sick. Viruses are one kind of germ. They are SO small that hundreds of them could line up across one hair!
A virus can't grow on its own. It sneaks into the cells of your body and makes copies of itself. Viruses travel on sneezes, coughs and dirty hands.
๐ Tap the sneeze, the viruses and Leo.
Meet your white blood cells, the Body Defenders! In the game, they are your towers. Tap each hero to see its job and its power.
๐ฌ White blood cells travel in your blood, and they can squeeze out of it to fight germs wherever they hide.
Here come the germs, from weakest to strongest! Each level of the game sends tougher ones. Tap a germ to learn its tricks.
๐ These are pretend characters. Real viruses don't have faces (or crowns)!
Your defenders need good fuel! Fruits and vegetables give them vitamins and minerals so they can do their jobs well. Different colors bring different helpers, so eat the rainbow.
โ Science check: eating well doesn't mean you'll never get sick. Even vitamin C can't stop every cold! But a colorful plate helps your body be ready to fight.

Help Your Defenders Every Day
Wash your hands with soap for 20 seconds (sing "Happy Birthday" two times!). Sleep well, drink water, play outside, and eat your colors.
And if you do catch a cold? That's okay! Rest, and your defenders will win. Afterward, your memory cells remember that germ, so next time they fight back faster. Vaccines teach memory cells safely, too.
