🕹️ How to play

• 🛬 Land: hold ▲ UP to push against Phobos's weak pull, and ◀ ▶ to slide. Come down slowly onto the green glow, then hold SCOOP.
• Too fast? You bounce, very high and very slowly. Little taps work best!
• 🤖 Rover: hold GO to drive Idefix. Slow down over bumps, stop next to a sparkly rock and hold SCAN.
• 🪂 Home: wait for the yellow line, open the parachute, and steer into the landing zone.

Keyboard: arrow keys, and Space to scoop, scan or open the parachute.

🔬 Is it real?

Japan's MMX spacecraft really plans to land on Phobos, collect at least 10 grams of soil and bring it home in a capsule that lands in South Australia in 2031. Phobos's gravity really is so weak that a soft push can send you floating, and the little Idefix rover from France and Germany really rides along to drive on Phobos.

Game note: everything is much bigger, faster and closer together than in real life, and MMX lands only briefly. Emmy's and Idefix's faces are pretend.
